Port Man Arraigned

A Port Allegany man was arraigned Saturday on simple assault and harassment charges. 48-year old Michael Winston was charged for an incident at his home where he allegedly hit Mary Jo Smith across the face with a closed fist, causing injury. Winston was sent to McKean County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail and a preliminary hearing was set for May 2nd in District Judge James Miller’s office in Smethport.
