Injured Soldier To Be Awarded Purple Heart

Us Air Force Tech Sergeant Jamie Himes Dana will be awarded the Purple
Heart.
Dana is off a respirator after being seriously injured in a bomb blast in
Iraq. The Hazel Hurst Native is currently in Walter Reed Medical Center
recovering from the injuries. She says she wants to be able to stand up and
wear her uniform to the awarding of the Purple Heart ceremony, so it could
take a bit for her condition to approve enough to make possible.
