PA CleanWays of McKean County is sponsoring a second tire collection day
this year on Saturday, September 17th. McKean County Residents can dispose
of car or light duty truck tires for $1.25 per tire. The tires can have the
rims on or off. Tires are to be brought to the Tack's Inn parking lot at the
corner of Route 59 and 219 on Saturday, September 17th between 8 a.m. and
noon. In addition, participants must pre-register and pre-pay at the McKean
Extension Office (814-877-5613). The tires are being recycled by Huron Tires
of Buffalo, NY.
