Crews in Potter County are set to start replacement work on a bridge on Route 4005 Monday. The bridge, located in Roulette Township, will be getting new beams and a deck and will be closed for two weeks. Work is expected to be complete in mid-October. While the bridge is closed, motorists on Route 6 will be detoured to Route 4007 and then back to 4005.

Editor’s Note:

This release came from PennDot, an organization not so well known for communication. Anyone happen to know what roads 4007 and 4005 are? I’ve been combing though documents looking for a good comparative list of State Road names and “Real” road names.. to no avail…..

Josh,
I do know that PennDot is replacing a bridge on east branch of Fishing Creek Rd....just before you get to the Potter Game Club Rd. They have a big sign at Rt.6 stating the dates of closure. I believe it starts on Oct.11th.

Fishing Creek east branch is 4005 and Dingman Run is 4007. West branch of Fishing Creek is 4003.

You mean you didn't know the road you lived on???
