Emporium Arrests

State Police have made three arrests recently for incidents of burglary and
theft that occurred in August.
18-year old Gerald Lewis of Emporium faces charges that include burglary,
criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property for a burglary at the
Emporium Presbyterian Church. Lewis also faces charges of theft from a motor
vehicle for an incident involving ATA buses parked in Emporium, where money
was stolen and the buses were damaged.
18-year old Jesse Shields of Westport has also been charged for the thefts
from the ATA buses and faces charges for a burglary at Brown's Ice Cream
Store.
19-year old Steven Crespo of Emporium was also arrested and charged for the
ice cream store burglary.
