Tap In Fee Struck Down

Coudersport Borough Council made a decision this week that eased the burden
of a few spring and well owners.

Coudersport residents living within 150 feet of the town's water system, and
using springs or wells, can tap in to the system without a fee.

The well and spring owners will not be allowed to stay connected to their
owner water source.

The decision to waive the Tap in fee did relieve residents who over a year
ago, demanded the right to continue to use their own private water systems.
