Ridgway man drowns while hunting

42-year old Perry Klein died while goose hunting near a large pond on state game lands off Kemmer Road, Ridgway Township. Prior to dusk,on Sept. 5, he entered the pond to retrieve two geese which had been killed. He did not resurface after entering the water. Clearfield County Station 9 Scuba Team recovered the body from the pond bottom at 6:50 PM on Sept. 6.
