Smethport Man Offers Ambulance Idea

A Smethport man says he has a solution to the Township’s ambulance problems.

 

Brian Gustafson has a private ambulance service that provides services for the Smethport Borough, and Keating and Norwich Townships.

 

Gustafson’s business operates on income from a fee-based service.

 

The ambulance operator says he could offer services to the various townships surrounding Bradford, at no added cost to the taxpayer.

 

Local municipalities are weighing their options after the City of Bradford requested that the surrounding townships they serve chip in to pay for ambulance coverage.
