A Stand off in Westline ended peacefully Thursday evening. A State Trooper responded to a call from a neighbor that 72 year old Frank Tarasi had shot and killed her cat. When he knocked on the door, Tarasi indicated he would shoot if the officer didn’t leave. The officer identified himself, and Tarasi repeated his threat. Other State Police units arrived, and called the man on the telephone, Tarasi agreed to surrender. He was arrested and arraigned before District Judge Michael Kennedy.
