Hotel Building Purchased

The borough of Mount. Jewett now owns the Commercial Hotel on Main Street
and is planning to demolish the condemned building.
The borough has wanted to tear down the building for several years but
didn't want to buy it from previous owner Robyn Lundgren until they had
money for the demolition.
The building won't be torn down until after an asbestos evaluation, but
borough officials don't know how long that will take.
