Resurfacing Project Goes Out To Bid

PennDOT officials say the 219 resurfacing project will go out for bid in
December and construction should start in the spring. The four year,
81-million-dollar project will include the complete resurfacing of the
highway and reconstruction of select bridges. Phase one will cover Owens
Way to the Foster Brook Exit, phase two will run from Foster Brook to the
state line. Bids for phase one were supposed to start this month, but have
been pushed back.
