Kane Man Killed

A Kane man was killed in head-on crash with a tanker truck near Lantz
Corners last night. An SUV, driven by 63 year old Lawrence Reiner was
traveling down the hill, past Lantz Corners on Route 219 when his vehicle
swerved across the center lane and into the climbing lane where he struck
the rig head-on. Reiner's SUV rolled onto its roof, ending up in the center
lane, while the truck, driven by Keat Haycox of Indianapolis, jack-knifed
across the road. Reiner was not wearing his seatbelt.
