Water will temporarily stop flowing over Niagara Falls sometime in the next
several years.
According WIVB dot com, the American side of the Falls will be turned off so
work crews can build a new pedestrian bridge to Goat Island.
The span that's in place now has been declared structurally unsound.
The falls was last shut down in 1969 when the current pedestrian bridge was
built.
