Professor Calls Trees a "Gold Mine"

In an effort to take advantage of a large natural resource in Northcentral
Pennsylvania, a Pitt Bradford Professor is asking or a new program at the
college. Chemistry professor, Dr. David Soriano, has asked for the formation
of a two-year associate degree in wood technology.

That's just one of the ideas that the university could offer to help grow
the marked for the wood industry in the area, which Soriano says is a "gold
mine"
