Local Family Dines With VP

US Airforce Tech Sergeant Jamie Himes Dana and her family had the
opportunity to share a meal with Vice President Dick Cheney.

Cheney was the one that set up the Friday night dinner in Washington.

Dana and her husband, along with her parents, Randy and Janice Himes along
with several other veterans were picked up at Walter Reed Medical Center,
and taken to the Naval Observatory for dinner, and a concert by Country star
Shelly Wright.

Randy Himes, with the help of American Refining Group and W.R. Case and sons
presented a custom made case Knife to the vice president.

Jamie Himes Dana was injured in a bomb blast in Iraq. She's currently
recovering at Walter Read Medical Center.
