Portville Man Prepares To Go To Court

A Portville funeral director charged with fondling a 13-year-old girl
decided he wants his case to go to trial.

46-year-old Richard D. Truesdell rejected a plea bargain Wednesday in
Portville Village Court.

Truesdell pleaded innocent to charges of forcible touching and endangering
the welfare of a child.

He is free on his own recognizance. A trial is scheduled for January 11.
