A parade is set for Saturday to celebrate a Hazel Hurst Native.

Jamie Himes Dana was injured when a bomb went off beneath the armored vehicle she was riding in.

She’s spent months recovering at Walter Reed Hospital in DC.

Her former babysitter, and Hazel Hurst Postmaster Nina Nogar says the parade will be held Saturday at 11 in the village to honor the first Air Force woman ever injured in combat.
