Bingo Targeted by New Legislation

As though the nearby Seneca Casino hadn't hurt the local Bingo operators
enough, New State Laws have volunteer firefighters concerned.

House Bills 10 and 11 call for tripled fees, paid twice as often for non
profits to get bingo licenses, and for stricter standards for reporting
winners, as well as prize limits.

The bill has passed the house, and is waiting on Senate Approval. Martin
Causer says to impose more paperwork on these already struggling
organizations is just ridiculous.
