Over 900 million pieces of mail were processed by the US Postal Service
nationally yesterday, on the busiest postal day of the year.
Monday was the last day that first class packages can be sent in time to
reach their destination on time via the postal service.
Some Christmas cards and packages still may make their way home on time if
mailed today, but it's not as likely if you didn't wait in the line at the
post office yesterday.
