One person was hurt in when a train hit a car on the railroad crossing an
ensign hollow road in Shippen Township Monday afternoon.
State police say a car driven by 18-year-old Autumn Lukaskoonis of Emporium
was came to an icy patch, couldn't stop and entered the path of a train
Norfolk Southern Train.
The train moved the car about 10 feet, but only did moderate damage.
Police say Lukaskoonis sustained minor injuries, but her passengers,
including an 11-month-old baby were not hurt.
