The Allegany-Limestone School Board will decide on February 21st whether to
close the Limestone Elementary School.
The district will have several meetings between now and then to discuss the
issue.
In October, consultants recommended that the school be closed because of low
enrollment.
Also, the Olean School Board will have another meeting next month to discuss
closing a school.
The board says closing at least one of five elementary schools would save
the district 900 thousand dollars over three years.
