Potter County Crash

A crash in Potter County Monday led to charges for a Wellsville man. 25-year old Edward Shea was traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 49 in Allegany Township when he came up behind a vehicle driven by 65-year old George Lee of Genessee. Lee was turning left onto Kidney Road and Shea attempted to pass on the left side, hitting the front of Lee’s vehicle. Shea was treated at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and released. Lee was treated at the scene for minor injuries as well. Shea was charged with driving a vehicle at a safe speed and limitations on driving on the left side of the roadway.
