Williams Retrial Hopes at a Standstill

The Downstate Attorney hired by Timothy Williams to get him a new trial says
a breakdown in the system in McKean County has stalled out the case. Sam
Stretton says the transcripts from the testimony a year ago have not been
completed and sent out to the attorneys in the case.

Williams filed a post conviction relief petition, claiming that there may be
new evidence that could warrant a new trial.

Several people testified that they overheard Becky Lucrezi Olson say she was
the shooter in the 1999 shooting death of Police officer Steve Jerman.
