Scarnati Named Deputy Whip

Pennsylvania State Senator Joe Scarnati has been appointed as Majority
Deputy Whip for the Senate. According to Senate President Pro Tempore Robert
Jubelirer, the new position will give Scarnati more responsibility and
effectiveness and will also be a benefit to residents of his district, as
the leadership position will help give greater attention to local needs and
priorities.
