American Red Cross looking for volunteers

The American Red Cross needs another 40,000 volunteers to assist displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina in shelters scattered across the Gulf Coast. The McKean County Chapter has scheduled trainings from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 21, 22, and 23 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Bradford - behind the Country Fair Store. You need to call to register. - I haven't been able to find out if/when the Olean office or the St. Marys office will be doing trainings - to learn more about local chapter activities/trainings - link to the local offices from the national www.redcross.org website.
