Counterfeit 20's in Catt county

Cattaraugus County Sheriff Dennis John is warning the public to be aware that counterfeit money is circulating in the area. According to Sheriff John, several conterfeit $20 bills have been recovered in Salamanca, Little Valley, Franklinville and Yorkshire. The bills have been traced to an area out of the county. Sheriff John asks store and gas station owners as well as residents to thoroughly check bills for differences and to look for the security thread in the left side of the bill.
