A Roulette couple is headed downstate today after receiving word that their son was shot and killed in Bucks County.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that two police officers were shot, and one killed after a DUI arrest in the Borough of Newtown. Officials have not released the name of the injured and slain police officers.

Friends of John and Nancy Greg confirm this morning that the officer killed was the 31-year-old son of the Roulette Couple, who will be traveling with their other son today to head down to Bucks County.

More details on the incident can be read on the Philadelphia Inquirer Website. (may require registration to read)

Editor’s Note:

I’ve known the Gregg’s for a long time now. I am sure that the entire community echoes my sentiments when I say that I am sorry for their loss.
