State Police Crackdown

State Police are monitoring local roads during the holiday season. Governor
Ed Rendell says more than 300 departments will participate in the statewide
crackdown on speeding and seatbelt usage.

Studies show fewer drivers wear their seatbelts after the sun goes down, so
many of the traffic checks will take place after dark.
