These are photos aent to me by Greg Doane, who is well known for his nature photography.
Apparently this black bear woke up and made his way toward Maple Street in Roulette, and climbed up a tree. He spent all night and most of the morning in the tree. After briefing himself on gossip from the locals who came to gawk, he climbed another tree to get a better look.



He later went back to his den, and logged on the the Roulette News Blog, so he could forward the pictures to his kids downstate.
