Cell Phones and 911 in Potter County

Potter County Emergency Management is applying for 3 million in state funding to improve its 911 system for cellphones. The move is in response to a mandate to comply with Act 56, which attaches a one dollar surcharge to cell phone bills to help fund upgrades in the state.
