Dog and Handler Reunited After Bomb Blast in Iraq

The Air Force Security Police Association reports on their website a joyous
reunion in Washington.

Hazel Hurst native Sergeant Jamie Himes Dana is currently recovering from a
bomb blast in Walter Reed Medical Center. Dana, who served as a dog handler
in Iraq, was reunited with her German Shepherd REX in the hospital. Rex was
injured in when the bomb went off as well.
