Kane Man Faces Charges For Purse Theft

A Kane man was arraigned before District Judge Barb Boser on charges of
theft. Police responded to the Peking Wok on Fraley Street in Kane where
20-year-old Glenn Boatman allegedly stole a purse.

A works at the restaurant says she found her purse in a trashcan in the
restroom, minus 75 dollars in cash, and her ID and credit card.

Police said Boatman removed the money from his shoe, and told police he took
it.

He was jailed after he could not post 1 thousand dollars bail.

Boatman was recently released from McKean County jail after serving 30 days
for stealing a car.
