Garbage Out of County?

The DEP has approved a McKean County Municipal waste plan, at long last. The
final version of the plan took five years to complete, and bears little
difference to the last plan.

This time. though, municipalities reserve the right to transport garbage to
dumps outside county lines. The McKean County commissioners are expected to
approve the plan at the August Meeting.
