NCPRPDC Director on Paid Leave

North Central Regional Planning and Development Commission Executive
Director Ron Kulek is on administrative leave.

Elk County Commissioner Christine Gavazzi tells local media outlets that
Kulek was placed on leave November 28.

The board says the decision has nothing to do with the inner workings of the
commission.

Kuleck is receiving salary and benefits while on leave. Gavazzi says Deputy
Director Howard Glessner is handling Kuleck's duties.

She would not comment on the circumstances the led up to Kuleck's leave
though he was at the center of a controversy two years ago, after ten year
contracts were approved for administrators at the non profit organization.
