An Olean city employee that lives in Portville has a few clouds over his
future at this time. Olean Common Council moved to not allow Mark Donahue to
have an out of city waiver.
Alderman voted 3-2 in favor of the waiver, but 4 votes are necessary to
approve such a decision.

Olean City employees are required to live in the city unless they have
approval from the council.

Donahue moved out thinking he had permission from his supervisor, but
council has to make the approval.

Officials say there are some legal issues still to work out in the case.
