Three former Kane residents have been charged with welfare fraud and
forgery.
50-year-old Rosella M. Simmons-Medlin, 28-year-old Robert D. Frain and
23-year-old Melody A. Moyer allegedly obtained thousands of dollars in
public assistance, cash assistance and food stamps over the last several
years.
The charges were filed by the state office of the Inspector General.
Frain and Moyer are scheduled for preliminary hearings on December 12th in
front of District Judge Michael Kennedy.
