ACCORDING TO AUTHORITIES, D AND J PAVING, REPORTED THAT SOMETIME BETWEEN APRIL 2004 AND JUNE 2004, UNKNOWN ACTORS ENTERED AN UNLOCKED BUILDING AND REMOVED SEVERAL TOOLS, INCLUDING CIRCULAR SAWS, SOCKET SETS, A ROTO-TILLER, AND A CAMOUFLAGE COMPOUND BOW. POLICE ARE CONTINUING THEIR INVESTIGATION.

A Shinglehouse man suffered minor injuries after falling asleep at the wheel. Terry Ireland Jr was traveling along Fishing Creek Road in Roulette TWP, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

State Police are investigating an incident of harrasment in the village of Roulette. Tuesday night, Cristol Brooke Goodrich told state police that Shane Kelleher harassed her after a verbal disagreement.

State Police in Coudersport report that a Roulette Juvenile faces aggravated assault charges. According to reports, a juvenile sprinkled gasoline on the pants of another juvenile, and lit them on fire. The victim suffered third degree burns from his ankles to his knees.

NO PHYSICAL CONTACT WAS MADE.

A Coudersport man is charged with simple assault and domestic violence following an incident in Roulette Friday. State Police report that 44 year old Mark Benson allegedly began to drive his vehicle while 37 year old Karen Haldaman was partially within the passenger side door. The vehicle struck Haldaman, and she sustained minor injuries. Benson was released on $1000 unsecured bail.

ACCORDING TO COUDERSPORT STATE POLICE, 27-YEAR OLD SEAN PERKINS OF OSWAYO WAS TRAVELING NORTH ON POMEROV ROAD WHEN HE ENTERED MAIN STREET AND STRUCK A VEHICLE DRIVEN BY 38-YEAR OLD HARRY TAYLOR OF CERES, N.Y. THE TAYLOR VEHICLE SPUN 180 DEGREES AND CAME TO REST IN THE EASTBOUND LANE FACING WEST AND HAD TO BE TOWED FROM THE SCENE.

Potter County received its fourth crash in less than a month last night. 44-year-old Bonka Boneva of Pittsburgh was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2001 Honda veered into the path of a tractor trailer carrying quarry stone along Route 6 in Pike TWP. The tractor-trailer, driven by Scott Baker of Roulette, struck the Honda, and the trucks axle came lose. The Honda became airborne, and came to rest a short distance from the impact. The tractor-trailer’s gas tanks ignited, engulfing the vehicle in flames. Baker received minor injuries.
