A Coudersport man has been arrested after an investigation yielded five molested boys under the age of 7. 36-year-old Bryan Moyer is charged with 23 counts of indecent assault, one count of rape, one count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and numerous other charges related to the incidents. Moyer was arraigned before the district justice and placed in Potter County Jail in lieu of 100 thousand dollars bail.
A Boulder fell into the middle of Route 6 in Roulette Township about a half a mile before the McKean County line just as a Port Allegany woman drove alongside a cliff. 48 year old Debra Saulter received minor injuries when her vehicle struck the chunk of shale. Roulette Fire Department and PennDot Crews cleared the scene and directed traffic as ambulance crews took Saulter to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital. State Police also responded to the scene.
A Roulette woman faces drug charges after an incident over the weekend. State Police say charges have been filed against 18 year old Kelly Moore for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after she was picked up for speeding on West Main Street in Roulette.
State Police say an unknown vandal used a chainsaw to hack up a sign welcoming visitors to Potter County Monday morning. The wooden sign, belonging to the Potter County Visitors Association, was then thrown over an embankment. The incident occurred on Phoenix Run Road near the Potter/Tioga county line. Police are continuing to investigate, and encourage anyon with information to contact them.

The February meeting of the Roulette Township Supervisors will be held on Monday, February 14, 2005. The township meetings are held on THE SECOND MONDAY OF EACH MONTH. The meetings are held in the Township Hall on Railroad Avenue. The time of the meeting is 7 PM. Please note that the time of the meeting has been changed to 7 PM.
Police at Denton Hill are still searching for the owner of a silver Mountain Bike and Fleece Sleeping bag found along State Route 44 in Hebron Township at the beginning of December. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Troopers at (814) 274 - 8690.
State Police are investigating a Saturday incident involving a known 21 Westfield man who allegedly took a Ulysses woman's truck. Allegedly, teh suspect and 41 year old Lisa Jean Outman left a party in Westfield together, and then the man took the truck without permission. Police are investigating the wherabouts of the "very rusty" 89 Chevy S-10.
State Police report a Ulysses woman is charged with harrassment after an incident shortly after the first of the year. The police filed charges in teh incident on February 3 against 38 year old Judy Risser after she allegedly showed up at the residence of Kenneth Risser and entered a verbal argument, and refused to leave when asked. Ms. Risser then allegedly struck Mr. Risser in the head, breaking his eyeglasses. She then allegedly damaged a telephone box attatched to Risser's garage, and left the scene.
A Coudersport man was sentenced in federal court for tax evasion. 54 yearold Ralph Haskins, Sr., who at one time owned the Norther Pub and Earety inCoudersport did not pay the social security and medicare taxes he withheldform his employees over a three year period. The total unpaid taxes exceeds68 thousand dollars. Haskins was sentanced to one month in prison, sevenmonths home detention, and two years federal probation, as well asresitiution costs of 68 thousand four hundred fifty dollars.
Charles Come memorial hospital is set to provide radiology and teleradiology services through a contract company out of Chambersburg 12 specialists in nuclear medicine and neuroradioloy will work on site in conjunction with local radiologists.
A Shinglehouse woman was burned in a house fire Friday. A house rented by Charles Skinner was set ablaze by a kerosene heater. Skinner’s daughter was reportedly injured in the blaze. 25 firefighters from various locations fought the blaze. The American Red Cross is helping the Skinner Family.
A crash on Route 872 in Wharton Township occurred Friday morning. A snowplow driven by 39 year ld Edward Goodenough Jr. rear ended a vehicle driven by an Austin woman. Susan Ritsick received major injuries in the crash when her vehicle overturned.

A gun went off in a vehicle north of the border in New York State, injuring two people. Two Olean men were traveling along Route 60 to hunt porcupines when the weapon was accidentally discharged. 49 year old Steven Wing was shot in the hand while attempting to put the safety on the gun, THe bullet then traveled through the thigh of 48 year old Gary Blackmon. Both men were treated at Olean General Hospital.
Three cows were injured when a Coudersport man drove his vehicle into a utility pole and then through an electric fence Saturday. 46 year old Robert Cavallari lost control of his Ford Taurus along State Route 49 in Allegany Township, about 1 mile west of Seven Bridges Road. Cavallari struck a utility police, an electric fence, three cows, and a feeder wagon. Police continue to investigate.
