The Coudersport Falcons fell short in their quest for a state football championship Friday night, losing to the Duquesne Dukes (33-2) in the Class A Western Regional Final. Despite the loss, Coudersport finished their best season ever with a 13-1 record. Game details HERE

Emergency Radio Frequencies are abuzz with reports of flooding across parts
of McKean County.

In Liberty Township this morning, a school bus was stranded in water.

And close to noon, reports came in of a family that needed to be rescued
from their home.

Hotels, hunting camps, and spare bedrooms are empty this morning as
whitetail deer hunters look for that prize buck.

While some authorized hunting license vendors report that out of state
licenses are down, local hotels have few vacancies as hunters come to town.

Game Commission officials urge hunters to use caution while trying to fill
those tags in the woods today.

Hazelhurst Native Jamie Himes Dana appeared on Good Morning America Saturday
morning.

Dana appeared as a part of a feature story on the show that focused on
Dana's fight to keep her bomb sniffing Dog Rex.

Sgt. Dana and Rex were both injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
Federal Laws prevent Dana from keeping the military dog, but
Congressman John Peterson says he's working with Congress to adopt
legislation that would release the dog to her custody.

An Emporium woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday on Route 872
in Keating Township.
State Police say Angelica Puccio went off the roadway while traveling on
Route 872 in Keating Township. Puccio was taken to Charles Cole Memorial
Hospital.

A Liberty Township Crash reportedly left no injuries on Friday

State Police report 56 year old Barbara Bowman stopped on Route 6 at Pump
Station Road to make a left hand turn when she was rear ended by 41 year old
Louis Bacha of Crosby.

Bacha was cited for following too closely.

A Bradford man called State Police to report a stolen four wheeler. 27 year
old Corey German says someone stole the Yellow Honda EX from the Old
Lafayette Township fire department building in Marshburg sometime in the
past week.

Police are investigating the theft.

An Emporium man has been cited for Underage Drinking after an incident in
Potter County.

Police say 19-year-old Brian Gray Hastings, and two juveniles were charged
after a traffic stop yielded the juvenile driver was under the influence.

The incident occurred Thursday night.

The Potter County Political game just keeps getting messier. Outgoing Potter
County District Attorney Jeff Leber, who has been in several high profile
battles recently, attempting to get his contender's name stricken from the
ballot, and suing a local newspaper for alleged defamation, is now trying to
unseat the District Judge.

Leber says that District Judge Annette Easton should be disqualified,
because she is out to get a list of police officers that have reported her
for alleged misconduct.

Easton is being represented by attorney Sam Stretton

State Police in Coudersport are releasing information about an incident of
Theft of services that occurred between October 21 and November 4. The
reported theft occurred at the West Pike Motor Lodge in Pike Township in
which Todd Putman allegedly rented a room and left the premises without
paying for the services rendered totaling at 212 dollars. Charges have been
filed in District court, Galeton, PA.

A Group of men from Philadelphia were involved in a one vehicle accident on
State Route 872 just south of the Austin boro yesterday. State Police in
Coudersport report that a vehicle being driven by William Hughes lost
control as he rounded a right hand curve. The Vehicle slid off the western
side of the roadway and Hughes attempted to turn back onto the roadway and
slid off the other side of the roadway. Hughes vehicle would end up hitting
a set of cement stairs leading to the Forest Hill Cemetery. The Vehicle was
disabled in the incident and had to be town from the scene. All four
passengers of the vehicle were wearing their seatbelts and reported no
injuries.

The Smethport High school will be holding a college financial Aid workshop
on Thursday at 7pm. Presenters will be Sue Behan, the assistant director of
financial aid at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Judy Wright a
manager of a Northwest Savings bank will be the presenters at the event.
The Program will cover the different types of aid that are available and
procedures for applying for aid in 2006. Reservations should be made before
Wednesday by contacting the Smethport Guidance office between 7:30am and
3:30 pm.

A Crash occurred in Potter County Thursday along Route 6. 44 year old David
Close rear ended Debra Jean Brookens as she attempted to turn left on to
Trout Brook Road. Brookens Taurus was disabled in the crash. Brookens was
not injured. Close's 19-year-old son received minor injuries.

head and neck pain after a crash in Shippen Township on Route 155.

82 y ear old Samuel Denmark ran into the rear of a Ford Contour driven by
60-year-old Russell Lewis.

sometime on Thanksgiving Day.
Police say the mailbox and its post are valued at 30 dollars.

A Ulysses woman was hurt in an accident Thursday morning near
Sunderlinville.
State police say 46-year-old Gwen Sue Hugger was driving her car on Phoenix
Run Road when it hit an icy patch on the snow-covered road and went out of
control.
The car hit an embankment, spun around, the rolled on the driver's side.
Hugger was taken to the Corning, N.Y., hospital, where she was treated for
moderate injuries.
Police say her car had major damage.

Police are looking for two men who were tracking a wounded black bear on
posted property in Pike Township.
The bear went onto land owned by the Judson Hunting Club. The suspects
retrieved the bear, then left without the owner's permission.

Police say Mary Borro's vehicle slid on an icy road in Keating Township,
then hit several trees.
She was taken to Bradford Regional Medical Center by Priority Care
Ambulance.
