Leslie Guerreo of Cow Hollow Road in Roulette phone State Police to report
that she recieved a phone call on October 9th from Tyrone Harvey, of
Greenville, SC. Harvey's phone call violated a Protection From Abuse Order,
and he was charged with Indirect Crimninal Contempt. HE will be summoned to
appear before District Court in Potter County.
Halloween Celebrations are scheduled all across the Potter McKean area next weekend.
Coudersport will host a Halloween Parade on Saturday October 30, with little gouls and boys lining up on 3rd Street, and marching down Main Street to the Water Street intersection. The Parade will end in the Adelphia Gym. Borough officials say Coudy Trick or Treating hours are October 31, from 6 until folks decide to turn off their porch lights.
Roulette will hold its annual Halloween Costume Parade Saturday at 12:30 PM. Vehicles and floats should line up at Johnson's Excavating on Fishing Creek, and Costumed marchers should assemble at Potter County Human Services on North Street. Trick or Treating in the village will be from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
Port Allegany festivities begin with a pumpkin Part for kids ages 4 and up at the Port Allegany Alliance Church on Mill Street from 10:30-11:30 AM on Saturday. Trick or Treating runs from 5:00-7:00 on the 30th. A Parade will be held downtown at 7:00 PM. Costumed kids will march to the Moose for a Halloween Bash.
Ulysses Borough will celebrate spookiness on Saturday as well, with trick or treating from 5:30 to 7:00PM. The evening will be topped off by a Halloween Party sponsored by American Legion Auxillairy Post 963 at the Community Building from 7:00-8:00PM
Galeton plans are finalized as well for the festive weekend. GAleton Trick or Treaters will begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday until 8:00 PM the PTO will host a Halloween Dance at the Borough's Community Building from 6:30 to 8:00PM
Shingelhouse is planning to hold trick or treating between 6 and 8 PM on Saturday.
Travis Anderson looks on at the 600 popund black bear hit by a motorist this morning. Game Commission Crews were dispatched earlier today to dispatch the suffering bear; it took until late afternoon for Anderson and other officers to arrive with equipment to remove the bear, which had become wedged uner the guard rail along Route 6 just past Lickety Split, and just before the Ernst Driving Range.
Area residents complained that the bruin had been attacking bird feeders in the nearby vicinity.
A Potter County man was arraigned after he spanked a woman in Westfield.
31-year-old Charles Culp allegedly struck the buttocks of 24 year old
Crystal Kinchen. The action violated a Protection from Abuse order, and he
was arraigned and released on 500 dollars bail.
State Police are investigating an incident of sexual assault Police were
called by a female victim who says she was assaulted by a known male in
Roulette Township yesterday.. Police say they will provide more information
when criminal charges have been filed.
28-year-old Melissa Fenstermacherof Railroad Avenue is charged wioth
criminal tresspass and harrassment after entering the property at Horshoe
Court Drive after being told not to. Fenstermacher and 25 year old Albert
Monroe Jr are each cherged with harrassing each other. EAch of the pair told
police that the other had harrassed and annoyed the other. State Police are
continuing their investigation.
Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident along Reed Run Road in
Potter County Saturday. State Police say 19 year old Andrew Miltenberger and
his passenger, 20 year old Kristopher Siglin received moderated injuries
when MiltenbergerÂs Jeep Cherokee slid off the roadway and struck a tree.
The vehicleÂs other passenger, Brandon Way, received major injuries as a
result of the crash. Austin Fire Department, Austin Ambulance, and
Coudersport Ambulance assisted at the scene.
An Austin Camp was broken into last month. Sometime between 7/5/04 and
10/14/04 an unkown perpetrator entered a camp on Pinnage Hollow Road, owned
by Frank Pinnage of Oscoda, MI. Police say it does not appear anythign was
stolen from the camp.
